Recipes that are good for a snack after school? Am always hungry after school. any recipe ideas?
I get Quaker rice cakes, peanut butter and chocolate chip kind, and put peanut butter and Cool Whip on top. Fast and goooood.
make a pot of fried rice and keep the fridge and just heat a part
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
1 red pepper, diced
1 carrot, peeled and grated
1 box of 440g corn kernels, drained
1 small can water chestnuts, drained
4 cups cooked long grain rice Full
2 tablespoons Kecap Manis
Method:
Heat a wok over medium heat. Add oil and onion and saute for one minute.
Add celery, red pepper and cook 2 minutes.
Add carrots, corn and water chestnuts and mix.
Add rice and stir until Kecap Manis combine. Heat for about 1-2 minutes.

vegetables and cheese sandwich
3 - Propagation tablespoons vegetable oil or margarine, divided
1 / 2 - cup chopped green onions
1 / 2 - cup of green or red peppers
1 / 2 - teaspoon dried oregano leaves
8 - slices of white bread
8 - Kraft Singles 2% milk cheddar
Direction
Melt 1 tablespoon tea. vegetable oil spread in a small skillet over medium heat.
Add vegetables and oregano and toss to coat.
Cook 2 min. or until vegetables are tender-crisp, stirring frequently.
Top each of four slices of bread with two 2 single beds% milk and 1 / 4 cup vegetable mixture.
Top with remaining bread slices.
Spread outsides of sandwiches with a vegetable oil spread remaining.
Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes. each side or until golden brown on both sides.

Tamale Casserole
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
6 t chili powder
1 pound box of tomatoes
1 can corn, drained
3 / 4 cup cornmeal
2 boxes of small black olives drained
Brown hamburger and onion in large skillet or electric skillet. Add chili powder, tomatoes, corn and flour corn. Stir. Add olives. Place in large bowl. Bake in the oven. (325 for 1 hour or 375 for 20 minutes)
Serve with ketchup and / or Parmesan cheese.

How about apple slices with peanut butter. vegys with some ranch dip. A small salad with your favorite dressing top with some croutons and cheese. Make popcorn.
