Please, please help me! computer problems!? Well, I have a problem with my computer and I tried everything and I see clearly that it is probably a virus. While Yahoo! People told me to respond (in a previous question) was simply to reinstall my operating system, Window Vista Home Basic. That's what I plan to do so, however, they informed that I save my files that I want to keep (that is where it gets specific). You see, I want to save the following files for the following reasons:
All My Sims 2 Games & Files: I told them borrowed from a friend who had moved and I have no money to buy all the expansion packs again (More Sims 3 comes out soon).
All my photos: Because I have deleted off my camera (no, I do not have a blank disk on hand for photos). And there are plenty of them.
My book: I am an avid writer and I spent a lot of time writing my book (142 pages so far) and I can not lose.
My downloaded software: such as OpenOffice.org (Microsoft Office Clone), download my Photoshop CS4 Keygen Generator, my downloaded movies (Mean Girls, Another Cinderella Story and 17 again), my FLV Player Free VIDEOzilla, Next iPod Video Converter, DVD Studio VideoSoft free VLC Media Player, all my downloaded music, iTunes and my songs and PocketRAR. Now there are many files because it took me forever to get this and I do not want to spend that amount of time to make them again.
Please, please, help me. Without the knowledge to support all this, I can not fix my computer! Help please!
All good suggestions please!
You need to put it all on a kind of storage device (CD, DVD, SD cards, flash drives, external hard drive).
Simply copy and paste files for programs you'll need to transfer files from C: / Program Files.
All photos
Your book
You must burn to a disc, or transfer it to an external hard drive or flash disk.
---------
Your software downloaded
Download it again, unless you have the installers for your applications, you should go burn in a disc too.
---------
Sims
No, this can not save you. You must have the installation disk to install it again.

just because you have a virus does not mean YOU MUST Reinstall Windows! why not instead, find the name of the virus with virus software like AVG, Norton or another.
try to get a tool Removel for her, if the software cannot remove.
many people without tryiing reinstall everything to get rid of the virus (which in most cases is very easy to do) that way you do not need to bother backing up your entire system.
The best thing to do would be to bring someone who knows what they are doing. You can do it professionally, it will cost money, or you can bring it to a friend. If the hard disk works (slow still works) and its a pretty easy fix.
If you have another computer.
