Almond Flour CakePosted on March 21, 2010. I have a cake recipe that calls for a small amount of almond flour. I could not find it on my groceries? Should I use ground almonds? Or should I just increase the quantity of flour? From my own experience, if you grind your own almonds for the almond flour in baking use 1 T of flour for each 3 T ground almonds. It helps the house blend almond flour more easily in the bakery and not sink to the bottom.
