What's wrong with me and why I can not eat properly calories right? I posted the same question, except that I realized that I left out some things that I ate.
I used to eat 500 calories a day and be really full, I do not really know why.
But someone recently told me that I'm in my body starvation mode and I need to eat more, or all the calories that I eat will be set aside for the storage of fat.
So I try to increase my caloric intake, but I find it extremely difficult.
This is what I ate today (after having put much effort to eat a lot):
-1 Cup of V8 juice (50 calories)
-1 Small apple (77 calories)
-9 Bands carrots (27 calories)
-1 Cube cheese jalepeno inches (110 calories)
-2 C. tablespoons of hummus (50 calories)
-1 Piece of chewing gum (5 calories)
-10 Vanilla yogurt covered raisins (70 Calories)
-1 Orange (45 calories)
-1 / 2 onion (14.5 calories)
-1 / 2 zucchini (9.5 calories)
-1 / 2 cup celery (7 calories)
-2 Oz chicken (94 calories)
-2 Bears gelatin (17.4 calories)
-1 Cup of hot chocolate (60 calories)
-2 C. tablespoons of flaxseed (70 calories)
-10 Peanuts (40 calories)
-1 / 2 cup cottage cheese (90 calories)
-1 Yogurt (90 calories)
Total: 926.4 calories
I tried so hard today to get to 1200 calories which is what I have to maintain my weight (130 lbs, 5'2 ").
But now I feel nauseous and feeling sick because of so much food.
What's wrong with me?
you feel sick, you eat bc continuously throughout the day.
Your problem is you do not eat real meals. Breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner.
you can have a yogurt with granola for breakfast, a bag of whole wheat pita stuffed with chicken and lettuce with a fruit salad or fruit for lunch and a salad or wrap for lunch. or even a piece of fish with fresh vegetables. snacks can include fruits, vegetables, nuts, or yogurt. treat yourself to a piece of chocolate or something once a week. and btw, I wouldnt go from 500 to 1,200 calories at once. id built at the height by adding 100 every two days, so you do gain weight.
It kind of sounds like you may have an eating disorder. You should talk to someone you trust and see if you need to get help.
As to why you feel so full, your stomach has probably fallen to the lack of food, so when you eat more than usual, it feels like a ton, even if it is not that much.
Eat fewer things that are high in calories, such as pasta, bread, no milk, no meat. Im not saying to throw vegetables and fruit because there are good for you, but instead to try 2 oz chicken 6 oz 1 / 4 cup vegetable. If you are afraid to eat bread try multigrain bread.
If you really want to eat healthy and try to eat as a result of the food pyramid.
