Candy Crane

Posted on February 5, 2010.
Candy CraneMy correspondent gave me a letter with candy inside, what should I give her back?

I have a correspondent from Japan, and yesterday I received a letter containing a small hard candy, an origami crane, and clippings of some of what I'm assuming that television loves. I want to send him candy that is not marketed in Japan, but I do not know what candy is only from America. this candy is not sold in Japan that I could send in an envelope? What should I send the letter?

You can send a hard shell like the candy Skittles, Reese's Pieces, or beans, even Jelly (send your letter in an envelope, bubble-aligned). Thus, licorice-flavored Twizzlers cherry sticks as, or those Twizzlers small cut-up, would be good to send. Make sure you write on the envelope "Fragile" and "sensitive to heat, and the post office clerk to hand stamp the envelope if the sweets are not messed up in the sorting machines. If you can find cute stickers to the store, I'm sure she would like the same. You can even cut a comic strip of paper if you think she could love. Think about some of the things you love , and to send some of these items if you are able to ... (PS You do not have to send him at once. It is nice to receive a small gift every few letters that are received.)

How about those gourmet jelly beans or chocolate popcorn, maybe a key ring in your city or state and a few nice postcards would be both small and light weight mail.
