Candy Dish

Candy DishHow can you ask for donations for the candy dish at work?

We have a dish of candy at work and I was buying candy to fill it on a Wednesday, I bought five bags of mini assorted chocolates and they were gone by Friday. I do not want to buy more then how do I kindly ask my colleague smart?

Here's what I did ..... 've Always been one for cooking office parties, birthdays, promotions, etc. It got to the point they have never discussed with me, they just took, I'd be the one bringing the cake. the next game was scheduled on my day off, and they do not cake. After that, people started to turn on the cake in the office. Chances are, people are in your office like mine --- they do not realize they are taking advantage, they just take the candy will be there. do not buy any candy this week. someone notice and begin to inch up if they do not tip, just ask someone else to do in the sweets, because you can not afford to feed the masses. a little guilt trip never hurt anyone:)

I had the same situation in my office. I put a small box with a lid next to the candy with a sign recorded it: Please place donations candy dish here. It works! Of course, my sweetie probably lasts a bit longer than yours (I usually do Jolly breeders, rescue, star) with chocolate, it seemed that everyone wanted to grab a handful. Hope this helps!
