One of my favorite holiday treats is homemade fudge (nut, of course). If your family loves fudge as much as mine does, you do the kind they know that, then have to try one of these recipes also. You might find a new family favorite! Our family engages in a little peanut butter fudge every holiday season. Candy Store Fudge 1 / 2 lb. butter, softened Put the following ingredients in a large bowl: butter chocolate chips, marshmallows, vanilla and nuts and set aside. Slowly bring to boil, stirring constantly, sugar and evaporated milk and stir for exactly 6 minutes. (Start Date to the boil rolling step). Mixture burns easily. Pour over ingredients in bowl and mix with electric mixer until smooth, pour into buttered 9x13 inches. Refrigerate for 12 hours. Peanut Butter Fudge Butterscotch Fudge 12 oz bag butterscotch chips Mix butterscotch chips, milk and marshmallows in a saucepan melt on the stove. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, vanilla and salt. Stir in peanuts. Pour into 9 "square pan. Once completely cooled, cut into small squares. Fudge Store in refrigerator. Cherry Almond Fudge 2 cups chocolate chips semisweet In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and milk. Cover and cook on high heat for 1-2 minutes or until chips are melted. Blend until smooth. Stir in almonds, cherries, and almond extract. Spread the mixture into a 8x8 pan lined with paper that has been greased. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until. Using the foil, lift fudge from pan. Discard foil and cut fudge into squares an inch. Store in refrigerator. Peppermint Fudge 2 / 3 c. evaporated milk Combine milk, sugar, butter and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then boil for five minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, chocolate chips, peppermint extract, and nuts. Stir vigorously until marshmallows are melted and well blended. Pour into 8-inch square. Chill.
