Doritos BagNew and different ways to use leftover turkey

If you have leftover turkey and I would try a few different ways to use it, here are some suggestions for you. Add leftover turkey Tex-Mex flair by using it in this chicken or Turkey Casserole Doritos. The Doritos add crunch and vegetables add color. Or how about the turkey sandwiches barbecue? These two recipes will allow you to use your turkey without your family complain of re-eat Thanksgiving dinner!

Doritos Chicken and turkey CASSEROLE

chicken or turkey equals 1 boneless chicken, cooked and diced

1 can (10 3/4-oz) cream of celery

1 / 4 cup finely chopped onion

2 cups shredded cheddar

Half of a 11-oz bag Nacho Cheese Doritos, slightly crushed

1 pkg (8 oz) mixed vegetables, drained (if desired)

1 tsp tablespoons water

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Spray a 3 quart casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a bowl, combine all casserole ingredients and mix well. Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 35 minutes or until sauce bubbles.

Old Fashion baked chicken on the barbecue or Turkey

leftover turkey or chicken meat equal to about 3 pounds of chicken
2 v. tablespoons canola oil
1 / 2 cup onion, chopped
1 / 2 cup chopped celery
1 / 2 cup ketchup
1 / 3 cup water
2 v. tablespoon lemon juice
1 tsp tablespoons brown sugar
1 tsp tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup vinegar v. soup
1 tsp tablespoon mustard
Salt and pepper
3 pounds of flesh, cut

In a medium skillet, cook onion and celery until tender crisp in oil. Place the turkey or chicken that has been diced or grated into a baking dish. Add ketchup, water, lemon juice, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper to taste celery and onion. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Pour sauce over turkey or chicken. Bake in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for45 minutes to 1 hour. Drizzle with sauce and three or four times during cooking. Serve on whole wheat bread with your favorite condiments. You can also combine all this in the Crock Pot or slow cooker and cook until bubbly and hot.

Note: If you have a lot of leftover rice or mashed potatoes, you can use this recipe on them rather than on a bun.
