How do I prepare my own gourmet popcorn? What equipment do I need and how do I cook it and taste?
SEASONED POPCORN
2 qts. popcorn
1 stick butter
2 v. tea. paprika
1 tsp tea. onion salt
1 / 4 C. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
Two quarts of popcorn tossed by the following: butter melted and mixed with salt, paprika, onion and grated cheese. Stir in corn, salt to taste
OR
SEASONED POPCORN
If popcorn is not hot, heat the oven to 325 degrees about 5 minutes or until hot. Place popcorn in large bowl warm. Add melted butter and mix well. Add seasonings, mix again. Serve immediately. If not served immediately, turn into a large shallow pan and heat the oven to 325 degrees about 5 minutes or until hot. Stir before serving. Makes 2 quarts half.
ONION POPCORN:
Empty 1 envelope (amount for 4 servings) Dry onion soup mix in small bowl. Stir with a fork to evenly distribute the ingredients. If the pieces are very large onion, cut into small pieces with scissors. Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of the mixture of popcorn butter over (reserve remaining onion soup mix for another batch of popcorn.) Mix well.
POPCORN AIL:
Sprinkle buttered popcorn with 1 / 2 teaspoon garlic salt. Mix well.
POPCORN experienced:
Sprinkle buttered popcorn with 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt for grain. Mix well.
Hickory Smoked POPCORN:
Sprinkle with salt butter popcorn Hickory 1 / 2 teaspoon smoked. Mix well.
POPCORN CINNAMON:
Sprinkle buttered popcorn with 2 tablespoons colored sugar crystals and mix well. Sprinkle with 1 / 2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder and 1 / 2 teaspoon salt. Mix well.
