What are healthy desserts that can be easily packaged as a gift for Valentine's Day? I know that the issue of healthy dessert has been asked a million times. The thing is, I'm looking for desserts that can be packed in small zip lock or plastic wrap to make a healthy dessert cart variety for Valentine's Day. I know I want to make muffins, apple cinnamon maybe. Any other healthy snack suggests would be greatly appreciated. P

HI
Do not let us take all the pleasure of eating! There are excellent low-calorie sweeteners on the market, such as "Splenda" that uses the unique sweetening ingredient, sucralose. You can also simply reduce the sugar in any recipe that you use. In some recipes to reduce by 20% the amount of sugar does not change the taste!
If you decide to use any sugar substitutes just be aware of these two types of sugar substitutes and artificial sweeteners nutritious. Artificial sweeteners (sucralose is an example) are safer for diabetics is low in kcalories. Of course, do not replace any type of sweetener for fruits, vegetables and other nutritious foods.
And then there are diabetic dessert recipes. There is a very large number of recipes available which offer much more variety. There are pleasures, such as Lemon Mousse Cheesecake, Chocolate Marble Cake Peach-Berry Frozen Dessert. How about Almond Sugar Cookies or Chocolate Cake Oat Bran? Remember, watch your health by exercising and being aware of food intake in general, but do not forget to continue to enjoy your dessert! Go there and do research and find all these gorgeous recipes!

Bakery and anything made with sugar, can not be classified as "healthy". Put dried fruit varieties in ziplock .... is the closest thing to your health as you'll get. Problem with this is that your basket will be ..... bland.
Low fat brownies, dried fruit and instant tea.
