Low Carb Margarita Recipe

Need help making a low-carb margarita with ingredients fairly common. I know I will not no-carb, since some tequila in it.

Sofar I can find mixes from companies such as Baja Bob use Splenda, but they arn't available locally and do not wish to order online.

The closest thing I can think of is a sugar-free drink lime juice to the basis of taste, but I can not even find the ... The closest I can find is Kool-Aid drink mix lime which is unsweetened and I might add my own sweetener.

So if I use the sweetener for two quarters ... charge my blender with crushed ice .. however, add much sweetener mixture recommends, I'll have to add water in addition to the tequila ... Should I use 1 / 4 stud? instead of 2 quarters, not two cups? And then of course a cup of tequila and all this ice, some of which will melt.

What do you think?

Just look online to Margarita low CAL and you'll find a few options.

Here are a couple that I used (it's good, none are as good as the real one):

HG's Magical Low Calorie Margarita

(Full recipe: 105 calories, 0g fat, 58mg sodium, 2g carbohydrates, 0g fiber, 0.5g sugars, 0g protein = 2 points)
Ingredients

6 oz Sierra Mist Free (or Diet Sprite Zero, or your other fave no-cal lemon-lime soda)

* 1.5 oz Tequila

1 / 2 c.. Crystal Light powdered drink mix, Lemonade (I use the Wal-Mart Great Value brand)

1 oz lime juice
Optional: lime slice for garnish and salt or no-calorie sweetener for rim of glass

Itinerary:

If desired, run some lime juice on the edge of the glass and dip into a dish of salt or sweetener. Mix all ingredients together. Pour over 1 cup of crushed ice. Optional: Garnish with a slice of lime. Enjoy. For one person!

Razzy Rita Rockin '

(Full recipe: 105 calories, 0 g fat, 5 mg sodium, 2 g carbohydrates, 0g fiber, 0.5g sugars, 0g protein = 2 points)

Ingredients

* 1.5 oz Tequila

1 / 2 c.. Crystal Light powdered drink mix, Raspberry Ice

5 oz water

1 oz lime juice

Optional: lime slice for garnish and salt or no-calorie sweetener for rim of glass

Itinerary:

If desired, run some lime juice on the edge of the glass and dip into a dish of salt or sweetener. Mix all ingredients, mix well and serve over ice. Or, for a frozen, place all ingredients (dissolve Crystal Light in water first) in a blender with 1 cup of crushed ice and blend on high speed until well blended. Optional: Garnish with a slice of lime. For one person!

You will not find a zero-carb margarita (worth drinking). Life has carbs.I do not think two carbs is all that much, considering pre Cuervo "Jose margarita-mix is 32 carbs in 8 oz Flag

Just use lime juice or lemon juice instead of sour mix. None of this bullshit sweetener and it will taste much better too. Simply mix the juice, tequila and triple sec into a pitcher and serve over ice.
