Nostalgia Electrics

I borrowed a chocolate fondue fountain Nostalgia Electrics for a party and I want to clean it before returning it, but can not understand how to disassemble. Can anyone help me? It has a stainless steel base and parts are plastic fountain. I think there is a dark side turns in the middle that needs to be cleaned out. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
