Raisin CostumePosted on March 15, 2010. Fun Halloween Treat Ideas for 2009: Healthy Treats for Halloween Candy, while being associated with Halloween for centuries, has also long been associated with health problems such as spikes blood sugar, weight gain and help with things such as diabetes and tooth decay teeth. However, there are other Halloween treat ideas that you give to your tour or caterers. We can all make sure that our children love Halloween by giving treats that will not threaten or harm their health. After numerous conversations with the children in my family, friends and classmates I came up with a list of candies that children benefit equally if not more than candy on Halloween. Healthy Snacks: Raisins or other dried fruit packets The bags of homemade trail mix Mixed nuts, which can also be mixed with raisins or dried cranberries Potatoes can be decorated with small spiders scary that you can attach to the stem Bananas and oranges can be decorated and painted Halloween faces Other great treats: The kids love the sticks on stickers and temporary tattoos wax teeth and mustaches were popular on Halloween as long as I can remember Small toys liquidation jump and move in different ways - many adults have taken their children because they were Boxes of crayons Spooky above their pencils and erasers in the shape of creepy Sidewalk Chalk - ideal for Hop Scotch and draw pictures on the sidewalk or driveway Freaky ring-shaped plastic spiders and other creatures will go well as accessories to their costumes. A ring of cat would be a great addition to the Barbie Pink Cat Costume for girls. Many of your local party store will have bags of Halloween party favors. Some of them are miniature harmonicas and other fun toys in them. I take these bags and use the contents individually for the tour or caterers. Children love Halloween candy they get a lot of fun and pleasure and other goodies in their bag. With thousands of children who can not eat candy because of health problems such as diabetes or food allergies, it is important to have alternatives to Halloween candy so they can also enjoy the party . I intend to give candy, both regular and sugar free, but I also intend to have lots of other treats for children who prefer them or simply can not eat candy. Why should they be left out when there are so many easy ways to include them in the spirit of Halloween?
