Setton Farms

The federal food safety officials warned Monday that consumers should stop eating all foods containing pistachio products as they determine the source of possible contamination with salmonella.

Setton Farms, "the nation pistachios second processor is voluntarily recalling all its" 2008 harvest.

The FDA is urging consumers to hang on to their products they already have the recall list should grow over the next few days.

Thank you .... just wanted to put this knowledge to all. Salmonella can be very serious and I am worried for the children and the elderly who may be exposed. Please let everyone know.

All this food contamination at the end is pretty scary. (At least it is good that comes to light, and we can try to understand how it happens. Til then, it looks like I'll be laying off the pistachio ice cream for a while. I Thank you vaguely heard this on the radio this morning - for details, I'll be sure to warn my friends and family.
