You could buy a machine pudgy pie
It is an iron pie you stand on the fire

We use them when we camp to do all sorts of different sandwiches callied Pudgy pies

His Teflon if the baton does not work for bread.
You can fill it with cheese for grilled cheese sandwhiches
PB & J sandwhiches for the hot lead and j
Fill with pizza sauce and pizza cheese sandwhiches pastry.

This list can go on and on

Or you can always go the traditional route w / smores and hot dogs for roasting!

smores are probably the most well received by young people.

S'mores! Grahm crackers, chocolate and roast Marshmellow.

Or

Cut an apple in half, cut the base, fill it with candy cinnamon, wrapped in paper and place in coals of fire for about 10 minutes. Gives a sweet apple cinnamon .... delicious.

Something we have been camping pies, two pieces of bread pie filling in the middle, put up something metal (I do not remember exactly what it was called) and cooked for a few minutes later . This has been very well received in our family.

Hot dogs cooked on sticks over an open fire ... using long sticks!
